Hello and welcome to my kitchen, I'm a Canadian Veteran, a mom, and a wife.  I have lived across this great country called Canada and I bring all my experiences into making quality baked goods and treats to you.

My goal is to cook and bake from recipes of my grandmother and others that baked for large families and communities.  bringing these traditional foods to a modern society that has grown up on mass produced food.

While keeping the recipes true to form, I am reducing the sugars and other really unhealthy stuff in favour of more fruit and flavourings that provide true taste. 

 

Oh yes, the odd time I go rogue and make things completely outside of the book...it can't all be old fashioned.
